I attended an insightful event at King's College London exploring the impact of platforms and AI on society and the state, emphasizing their potential to undermine public institutions and shift state power. The event also highlighted the significant contributions of women in tech, inspiring hope for a more diverse and inclusive future in AI and technology governance.

I hosted a data visualisation workshop focusing on the inequalities in the healthcare system during the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK. Our team specifically examined racial disparities within the NHS, extracting relevant statistical data. Throughout the workshop, we developed a visualisation project theme, proposal, layout design, and hand-drawn drafts, all centred around addressing racial healthcare inequalities.

I participated in the programme in Oxford University focused on social sciences, encompassing language, literature, digital media, and communications. It emphasised academic research methods and cutting-edge techniques in the humanities, significantly enhancing my ability to utilise data analysis for media research. Our group conducted a detailed data-driven analysis of gender representation in film, culminating in a high-scoring presentation that effectively showcased our findings through statistical evidence and visualisations.

As a PR intern, I had the opportunity to participate in the 2022 China International Import Expo (CIIE). During the event, I played a crucial role in coordinating with various stakeholders, including international exhibitors, media representatives, and event organisers. I was tasked with resolving unexpected issues, such as last-minute changes to the event schedule and logistical challenges, which required quick thinking and effective problem-solving skills. Additionally, I collaborated closely with my team to ensure seamless communication and execution of PR strategies, demonstrating my ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This experience not only honed my coordination and teamwork abilities but also underscored the importance of adaptability and strategic planning in achieving successful outcomes.
